Job Circle
Job Circle (Swe: Arbetspoolen, Fi: Työrinki) consists of 14–18-year-old youths who provide help to private persons and associations (not companies) in Vörå municipality. Activities are coordinated by the municipality’s recreation office.
Suitable jobs include e.g. cleaning, gardening, raking, mowing, weeding, shoveling snow, car washing, walking the dog, running small errands, grocery shopping, window cleaning, baking, watering flowers, and babysitting.
The customer ordering the job may live elsewhere, but the work must be carried out in Vörå municipality.
The primary purpose of Job Circle is to give young people the chance to get work experience, sensible employment, and some pocket money. At the same time, households/associations receive help with various everyday chores.

Please place the job order at least three (3) days before you want the work done. Describe what kind of work you want done and suggest a time for it.
We contact local youth who are next in line for a job and fit the requirements. The person who accepts the job receives the customer’s contact information. The work may take no longer than three (3) hours. You can also book regular jobs, such as mowing.
Fees for the customer:
- one under 17-year-old worker, 25 euros incl. VAT
- one over 17-year-old worker, 31 euros incl. non-wage labour costs and VAT
Job Circle invoices the customer once a month (no cash payments). The municipality reports salary details to the income register.
During school term, jobs are only carried out during evenings and weekends.
The customer can also take advantage of the household deduction for jobs provided via Job Circle.
For regular jobs (once a week or every other week), the customer receives a list that he or she fills in and sends to us.
Youth in the Job Circle have accident insurance, but if the customer uses Job Circle’s services regularly, it’s up to the household/association to take out statutory insurance.

You must be at least 14 years old to be eligible for work via Job Circle. After registration, you will be contacted for a brief info meeting.
You can earn 20 euros/job by performing work to private persons or associations. The work may take no longer than three (3) hours. The pay for simpler jobs of under one (1) hour is 10 euros.
You’ll be contacted when suitable jobs arise. Please answer the job request as quickly as possible.
Before receiving your first job, you must deliver your tax card and sign a contract. Salary is paid once a month.
When you have registered at Job Circle, we count on you to accept various jobs. Acceptable excuses for refusing a job are e.g. exam week, football practice, or trips, but if you decline a job three times without valid reason, you are excluded from Job Circle. Please inform the customer immediately if you become ill.
